JAYMEE VALADEZ LPC Associate Supervised by Brook Bonnema LPCS
In today's fast-paced world, finding balance and maintaining mental health can feel overwhelming. Our time together shouldn’t feel like a task, it is a space where you can be yourself and take a pause to focus on yourself. I offer a compassionate and supportive environment for you to be you. Together, we will work towards cultivating resilience, enhancing self-awareness, and achieving personal growth.
My goal is to empower clients with skills, knowledge, and training while offering a safe space for introspection that will lead to lasting positive changes. I offer EMDR, ADHD coaching, and traditional talk therapy. (To learn more about EMDR please visit resources page)
I graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently a member of the American Counseling Association. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Brooke Bonnema, LPCS. My Specializations include ADHD, parents of children with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
What you can expect working with me is an integrated approach tailored to follow your needs. I use a combined integrated approach that focuses on attachment, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, mindfulness, and somatic approaches. I treat ADHD from an attachment lens while incorporating skills development and self-compassion. EMDR is the newest modality offered at beyond horizons counseling and is a preferred method of treatment for Trauma. I am here to meet you where you are at and support you along your journey towards healing.
